1858 was founded by Michael Ward, Jay Chaudhari, Michael Skat, and Michael Okaty each of whom serve as Founding Managers and all of whom have worked on and closed numerous transactions across a wide variety of industries.  Their combined M&A experience exceeds 60 years and billions of dollars in value. Jay Chaudhari, Michael Ward, and Michael Skat will also serve as the initial officers of 1858 and manage the day to day operations. 1858 is governed by a Board of Managers consisting of the Founding Managers, At-Large Managers, and two Independent Managers. Michael Okaty will serve as the initial Board Chair.
